Summary
Christophe Hillion is research professor at NUPI. He is also Professor of European Law at the University of Oslo, senior adviser at the Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies (SIEPS) in Stockholm and Academic Fellow at the European Policy Centre in Brussels.
He has published on the constitutional law and on the external action of the European Union. His present research focuses on the enforcement of the rule of law and democracy in the EU, and on the interactions between the EU and its European partners (e.g. Norway, UK, Ukraine). He regularly advises European governments and institutions on these topics.
