This year’s Nordic India Dialogue is the first in a series that is intended to become an annual tradition and rotate between the five Nordic research institutes NUPI, the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA), the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the Institute of International at the University of Iceland and the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI). The meeting is a joint initiative by the Nordic institutions and Ananta Aspen Centre in India.

The purpose was to discuss relevant topics, explore common interests and concerns, and build networks.

India has gained increasing importance globally, and NUPI continues to strengthen its expertise on the country.

Participants at the meeting discussed, among other things, geopolitical tensions, technology, supply chains and innovation, the green transition, and the Arctic.
