Summary

Hermine Van Coppenolle is a visiting researcher with NUPI, where she will be working together with the PULLP project on climate ambition within the UNFCCC. She is also affiliated with the Centre for Energy Research

Hermine is a PhD student with the Ghent Institute for International and European Studies. She holds a master in EU-Studies from Ghent University and was awarded the Marthe Versichelenprijs for her thesis in 2020. 

Her doctoral research focuses on international climate policy and climate ambition, taking a closer look at the Paris Agreement, its institutional design, and its participants.
