Summary
Dorthea Gradek is a Visiting Research Fellow at the NUPI research group for Security and Defence (SECD), where she will take part in the Norway and the EU towards 2030 project. She is also a trainee at the Norwegian Space Agency (NSA).
At NUPI, Dorthea will be analysing the link between the EU’s space policies and the green transition. One of her main focuses is on to which degree the green transition has been, and will be, foundational for European space policy. Through this, her research analyzes the relationships between the green transition, the EU's space policy and its resepective member states, the EU-ESA relationship and other relevant actors. Overall, her research aims to highlight challenges and opportunities for Norwegian space policy.
