Global management of energy areas in a globalized world

This project aims to explore how structural changes in the surroundings, in form of increased integration between different energy sources and regions, is managed by international organizations.

The changes of the global energy field may result in some og the countries trying to situate themselves to secure a stable energy supply. Meanwhile the different energy sources and the markets becomes more attached to each other. That is why it is important to understand how the current international institutional structures manages the changes, and what possibilities and limitations this structure has. The projects is expected to give increased knowledge of how Sweden may contribute for a better international management of the energy areas, thus also secure the stability for Sweden’s own Energy supply.
