Opinion polls predict increased support for populist parties with authoritarian views in European Parliament elections 6-9 June. In some European states such parties are already in power, implementing policies that weaken civil liberties, restrict civil society and undermine the rule of law. Are we witnessing a democratic decline? If so, what should be done to counter this development?   

Please note that this event will take place at Nedjma (2nd floor) the House of Literature (Litteraturhuset) in Oslo, and that it will not be streamed.

This event is organized by the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), in cooperation with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
