On 18 June, Kenneth R. Weinstein visits NUPI. He will dive deeper into the relationship between USA and Asia, both in a geopolitical context and considering the connection between security and trade.
Kenneth R. Weinstein is Japan Chair at the Hudson Insitute. In 2018 he was appointed by the sitting president Trump to be a part of the advisory committee for trade policy and negotiations, and in 2020 he was nominated by Trump as the US Ambassador to Japan.
The event is held at NUPI and it will also be recorded and published on our YouTube channel.
A light breakfast will be served from 08:30. The event is from 09:00 to 10:00.
