Lecturer in Global Security, King’s Collegephone
description
I joined the department as Lecturer in Global Security in September 2016, having previously taught at King’s College London and Royal Holloway, University of London.
I hold a BA in Archaeology from University College London, and an MA, MRes and PhD in War Studies from King’s College London. In 2013, I was elected Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. I am also Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
My research looks critically at global security practices, with specific interests in cybersecurity and digital surveillance. I have also written on time and temporality in International Relations theory, most recently in a monograph, Cyber Security and the Politics of Time (Cambridge University Press, 2016).
