China and the Nordics - Global Challenges in Chinese and Nordic Perspectives
Experts from leading think tanks visit NUPI to discuss the China-Nordic relationship in light of today's challenges.

Protectionism, climate change, terrorism, poverty and conflict – international affairs are replete with concerns and uncertainties. This means opportunities for new solutions. Are China and the Nordic states pulling in the same direction? When do they represent joint or divergent agendas?
NUPI is hosting the 7th Sino-Nordic Think Tank Roundtable, which brings together experts from these countries’ leading research institutions. We invite you to an exciting panel discussion with some of them, focusing on international trade, global governance, and peace and conflict. They will also address the future of China-Nordic relations.
Breakfast will be served from 8:30 AM. Opening remarks followed by a panel discussion and Q&A start at 9:00AM and last until 11:00AM. Chairs are NUPI researchers Wrenn Yennie Lindgren and Hans Jørgen Gåsemyr. The event is free but registration is required.
